ARC EMBEDDEDTM

Gain Unprecedented Visibility into PLCs and the Field Assets They Control

Visibility All the Way Down to the Factory Floor

Arc Embedded is the first cybersecurity sensor developed with an OEM to run inside a programmable logic controller (PLC). You can see all the components on the PLC and what they do, from what programs it's running to what part of the industrial process it automates.

With such visibility, you can detect and deter process threats and anomalies at the deepest levels of the Purdue model.

Aperçu du produit

The current version of Arc Embedded was developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric for the MELSEC iQ-R family of PLCs. It integrates easily with existing Mitsubishi Electric PLCs with no additional hardware.

Challenges with Extracting Valuable Process-Level Data

Due to their criticality and sensitivity, ICS security relies largely on passive network sensors that collect and inspect data flowing over Ethernet networks.

PLCs at Purdue Level 1 are often connected to remote components at Level 0 through non-Ethernet communication

Visibility into east-west traffic at Purdue Levels 1 & 0 is a black hole, including PLCs and their backplane communications

Any network disruption at Purdue lower levels could directly impact production.

The Nozomi Arc Embedded sensor represents a significant advancement in industrial cybersecurity visibility, offering meticulous intelligence at the deepest levels of network infrastructure.

Additional Features of Arc Embedded

Consumes minimal resources while providing unprecedented visibility into PLCs and the field assets they control:

Status and changes to software and hardware, programming resource use, running state, etc.
Physical access including user login data, USB peripheral usage, files transferred, etc.
Operational and protocol information collected from field assets connected to the PLC backplane
